Zane Sterling Riddle

Martinez –Zane Sterling Riddle, 39, died on Wednesday, July 25, 2012 at Eisenhower Army Medical Center.

The family will receive friends at Platt’s Funeral Home, 337 N. Belair Road, Evans GA on Saturday evening, July 28, 2012 from 6:00 to 8:00 PM.

A funeral liturgy will be held on Sunday, July 29, 2012 at 2:00 PM at Platt’s Funeral Home with Deacon Ken Maleck officiating. Burial will be in Mount Calvary Catholic Cemetery in Leavenworth, Kansas on Friday, August 3, 2012.

Zane is survived by his mother, Linda Riddle, sisters, Renee Belford and Lisa Teasley, his nieces, Mary Thorne, Ava and Elizabeth Teasley. Zane is preceded in death by his father, LTC (Ret) Steven G. Riddle December 2011. Surviving close cousins are, Dewey Brown III, and Steve Briglia.
Zane also leaves behind his close friends in Augusta; Celerino, Tim, Tony, Bob, Jimmy, Scott, and Jim and his friends in Kansas; Craig, Mark, Mike, Jeff, Danny and Eddie.

Zane was avid outdoorsman who had a deep love for golf. He was a 2012 Tour Member of the NGA Pro Golf Tour. Zane's life was cut short prior to scheduled tournaments that he was anxiously waiting for. Zane’s gift on the golf course and life touched many and he will be greatly missed.
