William P. Dr. Lawrence

Augusta, GA – Dr. William P. Lawrence, 72, beloved husband of Brenda Powell Lawrence, entered into rest on Thursday, February, 25, 2016 at University Hospital.

Graveside services will be held at 2:00 PM on Monday, February 29, 2016 at Westover Memorial Park with Rev. Joe Bowden officiating.

Dr. Lawrence was born in Cordele, Georgia and was a graduate of Florida State University and the Medical College of Georgia. He was a radiologist with Brown and Radiology and also worked at University Hospital, MCG, St Joseph Hospital, Doctors Hospital, and Burke County Hospital. Dr. Lawrence served in the United States Navy. He was a member of the American Board of Radiology, the American College of Radiology, and the Radiological Society of North America.

In addition to his wife, Dr. Lawrence is survived by his daughters, Ashley Carlson (Alan), and Melanie Lawrence.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Sunday evening, February 28, 2016 from 5:00 to 7:00 PM.
