William Marion Woodward

EVANS- Mr. William Marion Woodward, 83, beloved husband of the late Virginia Dixon Woodward, entered into rest on Tuesday, November 26, 2013 at his residence.

Graveside services will be held on Saturday, November 30, 2013 at 2:00 PM at Bellevue Memorial Park with Rev. Phillip Burdette officiating.

Mr. Woodward was a lifelong lover of racing and a former race car driver. In 2008, he was inducted into the AIRPS Hall of Fame.

He is survived by his sons, Ricky Woodward (Michele), Randy Woodward, and Rodney Woodward (Debra), his daughter, Renee Fisher (Heath), two sisters, Doris Woodward and Joan Coman, as well as nine grandchildren and two great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife, Virginia, and his sister, Margaret Ann Cheeseborough.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday, November 29, 2013 from 6:00 until 8:00.
