William Ken Rogers, Jr.

Augusta, GA- Mr. William “Ken” Rogers, Jr., 79, husband of the late Mrs. Miriam Ann Rogers, went to be with the Lord on Saturday, March 3, 2012.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, March 7, 2012 at Platt’s Belair Road Chapel at 3:00 PM with Reverend Noah Kiser officiating. Burial will follow in Bellevue Memorial Gardens.

Ken was born in Brooklyn, NY. He was a proud Navy Veteran. He served from 1951-1954. After his military service, he worked in the finance business. In 1970, he became a business owner in the mobile home industry, where for 35 years; he owned and operated retail and park operations.

Survivors are five sons, Bill Rogers (Malinda) of Evans, GA, Don Rogers (Linda) of Martinez, GA, Rick Rogers (Mary) of Evans, GA, Ron Rogers of Miami, FL, Daniel Rogers of Detroit, MI; one daughter, Rachel Rogers of Detroit, Mi; two brothers, Bruce Rogers of Texas, Gary Rogers (Linda) of Tampa, FL; three sisters, Joan Wildman (Dan) of Virginia Beach, VA, Susan Cox of Austin, TX, Sandra Gunther of Austin, TX; and six grandchildren, Kenneth Rogers, Melissa Rogers, Rich Rogers, Chris Rogers, Sharon Rogers, and Mason Rogers.

Active pallbearers will be Mr.Rogers grandsons.
