William H. Phillips

Mr. William H. Phillips, 88, beloved husband of the late Bennie Martin Phillips, entered into rest on Thursday, July 27, 2017 at Doctors Hospital.

Graveside services will be held at 11:00 AM on Monday, July 31, 2017 at Hillcrest Memorial Park with the Rev. Dr. J. Andrew Menger officiating.

Mr. Phillips was a native of Washington, DC. He was a firefighter for 30 years in the District of Columbia, and retired as a Battalion Fire Chief.

He is survived by his children; William Jr., James, Larry, Robert, Michael and Karen, as well as 12 grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren and one great, great grandchild.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Sunday evening, July 30, 2017 from 5:00 until 7:00 PM.
