William Billy Smith, Jr.

Mr. William “Billy” Smith, Jr., entered into rest on Wednesday, April 11, 2018.

Graveside services will be held at 2:30 PM on Monday, April 16, 2018 at Westover Memorial Park with Pastor Randy Tiller officiating. The family will receive friends on Monday, prior to the service, from 12:00 until 2:00 at Platt’s Belair Road Chapel.

He was a graduate of Evans High School, attended GA Military College and Augusta College. He was a die -hard Georgia Bulldogs and Atlanta Braves fan and was employed at DK News and Kelly Promotions. He will be truly missed by his family and friends.

Billy is survived by his mother; Patricia Smith, his sister; Sandra Smith Schmieden (Michael), his nieces; Samantha Todd (Miles) and Kathryn Renee Patrick (Jacob), a nephew; William Logan McCormick, three great nieces; Karis, Peyton and Paislee, a great nephew; Kason, and a beloved dog; Lexie. He was preceded in death by his father, William Franklin Smith, Sr.

Pallbearers will be Allen Dempsey, Stevie Fredericks, Steve Huffman, Raymond Carnes, Frankie Holstein, James Lombardo, Jason Beall, Anthony Brown, Dave Tipaldos and Chris Black.
