Vivian Pardue

Mrs. Vivian Pardue entered into rest on Monday, May 4, 2015 at University Hospital.

Funeral services will be held at 10:00 am on Wednesday, May 6, 2015 at Morningside Baptist Church with the Rev. Wallace Hoyle officiating. Burial will follow at Westover Memorial Park.

Mrs. Pardue was a pilot and an FAA flight examiner, who loved flying. She adored her grandchildren and great grandchildren, and had been in the wonderful care of Inez Thomas during the last years of her life.

She is survived by a son, Freddy P. Wehunt (Martha) of Charleston, S.C.; two daughters, Chris Vance (Craig) of Atlanta, Ga. and Susan Crozier of Augusta; six grandchildren, Shannon Bassett, Tyler Vance, Justin Crozier, William Vance, Jonathan Crozier and Katie Crozier; three great grandchildren, Liam Bassett, Gabriel Bassett and Leighton Bassett; as well as a sister, Alma I. Dixon of Bon Air, Ga.

Pallbearers will be William Vance, Tyler Vance, Andrew Bassett, Justin Crozier, Jonathan Crozier, and Donald Dixon.

The family will receive friends on Tuesday, May 5, 2015 from 6:00 until 8:00 pm at the funeral home.
