Virginia U. Anthony

St. Louis, MO- Virginia U. Anthony entered into rest Thursday, January 22, 2009 in St. Louis, Missouri. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Tony Anthony. She was the daughter of Sullivan and Catherine Usry.

A Funeral Mass will be held at 12:15 on Tuesday, January 27, 2009 at Church of the Most Holy Trinity Catholic Church with the Rev. Tom Peyton celebrant and the Rev. Michael Lubinsky concelebrating. Internment will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Park.

Survivors include one sister, Dorothy Connell, two sons, Robert Anthony and his wife Cheryl of Kirkwood, MO and Gary Anthony and his wife Lynn of Bartlett, TN, one daughter Becky Carson and her husband Jimmy of Augusta, GA. five grandchildren, Lauren Anthony, Luke Anthony, T. J. Anthony, Jeffery Anthony, and Lori Carson; one great-grandson, Dezmnon Stonebarger.

Mrs. Anthony was currently a homemaker. But served during World War II as Chief Clerk of the Quartermaster Property Branch at Camp Gordon. She was former member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church and a current member of Church of the Most Holy
Trinity. She loved cooking for her family and friends.

The Vigil for the Deceased will be held at 6:00 PM on Monday, January 26, 2009 at Platt's Crawford Avenue with the visitation from 6:30 until 8:00 PM.

In lieu of flowers, the family has asked that memorials be made to the Alzheimer's Association, 1899 Central Avenue, Augusta Georgia, 30904.
