Augusta, GA – Mr. Vester Eugene Burns, age 47 entered into rest on Monday, August 30, 2010 in Augusta, GA.

Graveside services will be held at 10:00 AM on Wednesday, September 1, 2010 at Westover Memorial Park with Reverend Brian LaFavor officiating.

Vester was born in Kenvir, Kentucky but moved to Augusta in 1981. He worked in the paint and body profession where his work won many awards in car shows.

Vester is survived by his mother, Dolly Burns; his brother, David Burns; his sisters, Judy Shipes and husband W.L. of Grovetown, Susan Crawford and husband Frank of Washougal, WA, and Robin Hughes and husband Eddie of Augusta; his dear friend of 18 years, Connie Scoggins and numerous nieces and nephews.

Vester was preceded in death by his father, Walter Eugene Burns.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Tuesday evening, August 31, 2010 from 6:00 to 8:00 PM.
