Venice L. Jordan

Augusta, GA---Venice L. Jordan, 79, entered into rest on Tuesday, July 23, 2013 at her residence.
Graveside services will be held at 1:00 pm today Thursday, July 25, 2013 at Hillcrest Memorial Park, 2700 Deans Bridge Rd., Augusta, GA with Dr. Michael Davenport officiating.
Venice was born on December 23, 1933 in Athens, GA, but had lived most of her life in Augusta. She attended Richmond County schools and retired from the Kellogg’s Corporation, originally Murray Biscuit Company. She was a member of the Baptist Faith.
She is survived by her daughters, Karen Moore (John) and Esther Cooper (Norman), all of Augusta, GA, two grandchildren, Carol Mayo and Jacqueline Mason, five great grandchildren, two great great grandchildren and three step grandchildren.
