Vance Earl Story

Harlem, GA - Mr. Vance Earl Story, 91, beloved husband of the late Grace Evelyn Story, entered into rest on Sunday, March 04, 2018 at the Georgia War Veterans Nursing Home.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM on Wednesday, March 7, 2018 at Trinity Baptist Church with the Rev. Ron Hankel, Rev. Rick Slagle, and Rev. Joe Woods officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. Burial will follow at Bellevue Memorial Gardens.
Mr. Story was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II. He was employed by Columbia County as a building maintenance supervisor before retirement.
He is survived by his children; Earline Hardy (Clayton), Charles “Bud” Story (Shannon), Bruce Story (Teresa) and Mike Story, his grandchildren; David Efremoff, Renee McHatton, Tammy Lucas, Wesley Story, Brad Story and Jason Story, his greatgrandchildren; Bryan Cozart, Haylee Cozart, Justin Cozart, McKinley Story, Star Story, Tate McHatton, Gabby Story and Brandon Efremoff, as well as his great-great grandchildren; Abby Cozart, Hannah Aldrich, Jayden Aldrich and Layla Efremoff. He was preceded in death by his wife, Grace and his daughter, Evelyn Crawford.
Pallbearers will be David Efremoff, Wesley Story, Jason Story, Brad Story, Bill Lucas and Russell McHatton.
