Tyler Rhodes Chance, 37, entered into rest on Tuesday, August 1, 2017 at Doctor’s Hospital.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday, August 5, 2017 at Platt’s Belair Road Chapel with the Rev. Dr. Brad Whitt officiating. Burial will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Park.

Heaven gained a gentle soul; a funny, handsome and genuine guy. He was compassionate, tender hearted and loving, and never met a stranger. He will be dearly missed by all.

Tyler is survived by his parents; Wesley and Pam Chance, his brother; Travers Chance (Tracey), his grandmother; Janette Chance, and his niece and nephew; Avery and Parker Chance. He is also survived by his paternal uncle, Calvin “Bub” Chance, Jr. (Cheryl) and cousins; Cory Chance, Carra Key and Tre Chance, his maternal uncles; Bobby Powell (Hilda) and Carl Powell (Doris) and cousins; Greg Powell (Stacey), Angie Reasoner (Reno), Diane Powell, Steven Powell, Susan Powell, Bruce Powell, Shelly Powell, Paula Kitchens (Danny), Dennis Powell, Lori Mills, Aaron Mills, Vince Mills, Chris Warren and Earl Mills, III, as well as numerous other family and friends. He was preceded in death by his grandparents; Mr. and Mrs. Earl Mills Sr. (Emmie) and Calvin Chance Sr.

Pallbearers will be Joel Granade, Kirk Watts, Greg Powell, Andy Powell, Aaron Mills, Brian Hall and David Farmer.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday evening, August 4, 2017 from 6:00 until 8:00 PM.
