Sydney Stanley

Evans, GA – Sydney Stanley, 6, entered into rest on Sunday, August 22, 2010.

A memorial service will be held at 4:00PM on Thursday, August 26, 2010 at Wesley United Methodist Church with Rev. Greg Porterfield, Rev. Adam Roberts, Rev. Chris Laskey, and Rev. Pat Williams officiating.

Sydney was a student at Riverside Elementary School. She loved to dance and was a student at Martinez – Evans Dance Studio. Sydney loved her brothers and enjoyed spending time with them. She loved animals especially her pets. Although her birth proved to be difficult, Sydney was a fighter and she was all her life.

Survivors include her parents, Mike and Jenny Stanley of Evans, GA, two brothers, Logan Stanley and Mason Stanley of Evans, GA, maternal grandmother, Linda Buchanan of Columbus, GA, paternal grandmother, Wanda Johnson and husband Jimmy of Hamilton, GA, paternal grandfather, Wayne Stanley and wife Donna of Fortson , GA, her pets, Max, Emmy, and Tiger. Sydney was preceded in death by her grandfather, Sonny Buchanan of Columbus, GA.

The family will receive friends on Wednesday, August 25, 2010 from 6:00PM until 8:00PM at the funeral home.
