Susan Schofield Givens

Aiken – Mrs. Susan Schofield Givens, 49, wife of Jonathan “Rusty” Givens, entered into rest on Tuesday, December 16, 2014 at her residence.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM on Sunday, December 21, 2014 at Platt’s Belair Road Chapel with the Rev. Stephen Lyness officiating.

Susan was a native of San Mateo, California, and a veteran of the United States Air Force. She attended Augusta State University, where she obtained a Bachelors Degree in Accounting.

In addition to her husband, Rusty, Susan is survived by her daughters; Kellie Crissman (William) and Jennifer Borror (Chris Lockaby), her stepson; Trent Givens, her grandchild; Ayla Crissman, her parents; James and Antoinette Schofield, her brothers; Dave Schofield (Diane) and Johnny Schofield, and her sister; Barbara LeBlanc. She was preceded in death by her brother Robert Schofield, daughter Michelle Borror, and Michelle’s boyfriend Ryan Holt.

Susan was a beloved wife, daughter, mother, grandmother, and friend. She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. Susan’s friendly nature lit up the room and she enjoyed sharing a good laugh with everyone. She will be dearly missed by those whom she has graced with her smile and beauty.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Saturday, December 20, 2014 from 5:00 until 7:00 PM.
