Susan Kopp Brown, 62, beloved wife of Stephen W. Brown, Jr. entered into rest on Tuesday, September 18, 2018 at her residence

A Memorial service will be held at the Brown residence on Saturday, September 22, 2018 at 11:00 AM. The family will greet friends at the residence on Friday, September 21, 2018 from 4:00 until 8:00 PM.

Susan Kopp Brown was born August 18, 1956, to loving parents Frederick Pryor Kopp and Mary Louise Martin Kopp in Columbus, Ohio.

Susan had a whimsical sense of humor and was fiercely loving to family and friends. She was enormously creative, as exhibited through her excellent cooking and her talent with gardening and flowers. She was a passionate reader and sharer of books.
Susan loved and cared for many animals throughout her life. Susan made birthdays and holidays special for her children and grandchildren. She loved the outdoors and travelled often to the mountains of North Carolina and the beaches of South Carolina. She encouraged us. It is with full and and aching hearts that we celebrate Susan’s vibrant and joyful life.

In addition to her husband, Mrs. Brown is survived by her daughters, Jennifer Brown Collins (Matthew), Mary Righton Brown, and Stephanie Lynne Brown; her grandchildren, Grady Frederick Collins and William Calhoun Collins; and by her sisters, Andrea Kopp Adams and Fredda Kopp Owens (Thomas).
