Susan Britt Brannan

Evans, GA – Susan Britt Brannan, 80, wife of the late Don G. Brannan, Sr., died peacefully at her residence surrounded by her family on Saturday, December 6, 2014.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM on Thursday, December 11, 2014 at Wesley United Methodist Church with Rev. Greg Porterfield officiating. A private burial will take place in Matthews, NC.

Susan was born in Dublin, NC to the late Samuel and Lillian Britt. She loved to read, gardening, and cooking. Susan was a former member of Weddington UMC in Weddington, NC and a current member of Wesley UMC in Evans, GA.

Survivors include her daughter; Judith A. Brannan of Evans, GA, her son; Don G. Brannan, Jr. (Janet) of Panama City, FL, sister; Anna Sproul of Fayetteville, NC, two granddaughters; Whitney Stokes, Kristen McClure, one great grandchild; Ethan McClure. In addition to her husband, Susan was preceded in death by five brothers and one sister.

The family will receive friends on Wednesday, December 10, 2014 from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM at the funeral home.
