Mr. Stewart Phinizy Barrett, Jr.
Retired Teacher
Augusta, GA – Mr. Stewart Phinizy Barrett, Jr., age 65, entered into rest on Saturday, April 3, 2010 at a local medical facility.
He was the son of the late Ruby Lombard Barrett and Stewart P. Barrett of Augusta, GA.
He was a retired teacher of Chemistry & Physics at Lucy Laney High School and was a graduate of Augusta College and East Carolina University in Greenville, NC. He was also a member of the Amateur Radio Club of Augusta.
A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, April 7, 2010 at 10:00 a.m. at Westover Memorial Park with Fr. Michael Kavanaugh officiating.
He is survived by numerous cousins.
