EVANS – Mr. Stephan Morson, 55, beloved husband of Susan Morson, entered into rest on Wednesday, January 25, 2012 at University Hospital.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Monday, January 30, 2012 at 12:15 at The Church of the Most Holy Trinity with the Rev. Michael Lubinsky officiating.

Mr. Morson was known as Gus, Roo, Kangaroo or Steve to his friends. He was born July, 15, 1956 in Sydney, Australia, and was granted American citizenship in 2002. He had retired from the Plumbers and Steamfitters Local 150, and was a champion marksman of the long bow, rifle and pistol. He was also a master whip plaiter, a competitive rower and cyclist, a lifelong surfer and knee boarder and a woodworker.

In addition to his wife, Susan, Mr. Morson is survived by his beloved mum, Rosina Pilosio Morson of Concord West, Australia, his sisters, Helen Morson Freame (Paul) of Concord, Australia, and Mara Morson of West Ryde, Australia. He’s also survived by many beloved aunts, uncles, and cousins in Australia and Italy, and his American family members in Georgia. He was preceded in death by his father, Giovanni Morson.

There will be a Vigil for the Deceased at the funeral home on Sunday evening, January 29, 2012 at 6:30 PM with visitation to follow until 9:00 PM.
