Mr. Stanford Lee “Stan” LaGrone

Evans – Mr. Stanford Lee “Stan” LaGrone, 61, entered into rest on Wednesday, December 14, 2011 at his residence.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, December 17, 2011 at 1:00 pm at Platt’s Belair Road Chapel with the Rev. David Dillard officiating. Burial will follow at Westover Memorial Park.

Mr. LaGrone was a veteran of the United States Army and had retired from the Ironworker’s Local Union 709.

He is survived by his mother, Mary W. Glisson, a daughter, Vanissa “Fancy” Campbell and her husband, David, a step son, Ryan Bohler and his wife, Stephanie, , two brothers, Cecil W. LaGrone, Jr. and William J. Glisson, Jr., and grandchildren, Abby and Lydia Campbell and Jacob and Jared Bohler. He was preceded in death by his father, Cecil LaGrone, Sr., and his wife, Mary LaGrone.

Pallbearers will be Tim Grooms, Marty Pearson, Paul Grubbs, Tony Register, Shane Peace, and Randy Stevens.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday evening, December 16, 2011 from 6:00 until 8:00 pm.
