Spencer Jordan Bo Talbert

Augusta, GA – Mr. Spencer Jordan “Bo” Talbert, 18, entered into rest on Monday September 15, 2008.

Funeral services will be held on Friday September 19, 2008 at 3:00 PM at Platt’s Funeral Home Belair Rd. Chapel with Mr. Trent Center officiating. Interment to follow in Hillcrest Memorial Park.

“Bo” will be remembered by his family as a loving brother, son, and grandson. He will also be remembered as an avid fisherman, a counselor, a peacemaker, an entertainer, a good listener, and most of all “Bo” was a friend to all with a heart full of love. “Bo” was a member of HIS Community Church (formerly Fleming Church of God).

Survivors include his mother, Virginia Lee; his grandparents, Larry & Judy Chalker; and his four sisters, Shana Lee, Kayla Lee, Jasmine Lee, and Kiana Lee.

But they that await the Lord shall renew their strength. They shall mount up with wings like eagles; they shall run and not be weary; they shall walk and not faint. Isaiah 40:31

Pallbearers will be: Jeff Broadbent, Josh Hymas, Russell Newman, Nick Smith, Randy Kirpatrick, Steven Mimmie, Jordan Langford, and Matt Newsome. Honorary pallbearers will be: Casey Batwell, Josh Partridge, Adam Suarez, Nat Waters, Chaz Adams, and Daniel Owens. Active and honorary pallbearers are asked to assemble at the funeral home by 2:15 PM on the day of the service.

The family will receive friends on Thursday evening September 18, 2008 from 6:00 to 8:00 PM at Platt’s Funeral Home Belair Rd. Chapel.
