Sharon Lee James

Augusta, GA – Ms. Sharon Lee James, 64, entered into rest on Friday, June 29, 2012 at University Hospital.

A memorial service will be held at 4:00 PM on Friday, July 6, 2012 at Platt’s Crawford Avenue Chapel with Pastor Matthew Shryock officiating.

Sharon worked at University Hospital where her co-workers there became her “second family”. She lived her whole life giving to and caring for others.

Sharon is survived by her mother, Arlene Bailey; her sisters, Gail Truman (Verle), Ramona Johnston (Glenn), and Nancy Godbee (Earl); brother in law, Steve Toomey; her nieces and nephews, Greg, Mike, Adam, and Mitchell Toomey, Mona Bowen, Donald Johnston, and Michael James, Jr. She was preceded in death by her brother, Michael James.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home one hour prior to service time.
