Samuel Steven Dr. Harvey

Evans, GA – Dr. Samuel Steven Harvey, 64, husband of Mrs. Lisa Wurst Harvey, entered into rest on Saturday, October 5, 2013 at Georgia Regents Medical Center.

A memorial service will be at 4:00 PM on Wednesday, October 9, 2013 at Platt’s Belair Road Chapel with Rev. Steve Hartman officiating. The family will have a private graveside service in Schucraft Cemetery, Appling, GA.

Additional survivors include, their sons, Charlie Harvey of Evans, GA. and Chris Harvey of Duluth, GA ; one sister, Marlene Harvey Smith; mother in law, Jackie Wurst; two brothers in law, Charles Wurst, III (Stacy) and Randy Wurst (Vickie), and a number of nieces and nephews.

A native of Johnson City, Tennessee, Dr. Harvey did his undergraduate at Georgia State University and graduated from the Medical College of Georgia in 1990. He was an Anesthesiologist with University Anesthesiology Associates, where he specialized in Pain Management and Anesthesia.

Honorary Pallbearers will be Doctors and Staff of University Anesthesiology Associates.

The family will receive friends following the service on Wednesday, October 9, 2013 until 7:00 PM.
