Rosina R. Martinez

Augusta, GA – Ms. Rosina R. Martinez, 73, entered into rest on Monday, July 6, 2009 at Dwight D. Eisenhower Army Medical Center after a short illness.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, July 10, 2009 at 11:00 AM at Platt’s Belair Road Chapel. Burial will follow in Bellevue Memorial Gardens.

Ms. Martinez was a member of St. Michael’s Catholic Church, Fort Gordon, Georgia. She was a retired civil service employee of Fort Gordon and enjoyed reading, gardening, and spending time with her grandchildren.

Rosina is survived by her son, Dirk S. Martinez of Grovetown, GA; three daughters, Caren (Tony) Harkins of Martinez, Carla (Ted) Oellerich of Hephzibah, GA, Carrie (Jeb) Blount of Thomson, GA; five grandchildren, Tonya (Brad) Ezernack, Libby Oellerich, Ava Oellerich, Lonnie Oellerich, and Jeb Blount, Jr.; two great-grandchildren, Chase Harkins, Karlee Ezernack; one sister, Mary Archibeque; niece, Michelle Parr, and many other nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends on Thursday, July 9, 2009 at the funeral home from 6:00 until 8:00 PM.
