Ronald Dean Bretz, Sr.

Augusta, GA---Mr. Ronald Dean Bretz, Sr., 81, entered into rest on Friday, June 15, 2012 at Trinity Hospital of Augusta.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM on Tuesday, June 19, 2012 at First Assembly of God with Rev. Baxter Stanley officiating. Entombment to follow in Bellevue Memorial Gardens Mausoleum.

Mr. Bretz was a member of Augusta’s First Assembly of God and was a former member of the Auburn Knights Orchestra.

Mr. Bretz is survived by his wife, Lillian; his son, Ron Bretz, Jr. (Dale) of Opelika, AL; his daughter, Cheryl Childs (Adam) of Tampa, FL; his brother, Rodney Bretz (Jean) of New Orleans, LA; his sister, Cheryl Arrow (Rex) of Bassett, NE; and a host of grandchildren and great grandchildren.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Monday evening, June 18, 2012 from 5:00 to 7:00 PM.
