Robert Bobby Williams, Iii

Grovetown – Mr. Robert “Bobby” Williams III, husband of Tiffany Williams, entered into rest on Saturday, September 21, 2013 at his residence.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM on Wednesday, September 25, 2013 at Platt’s Belair Road Chapel with Ms. Pat Williams officiating.

A native Augustan, Bobby was a retired veteran with twenty years in law enforcement for both Columbia and Richmond counties. He enjoyed playing the guitar, keeping up to date on current world events and was an avid baseball fan. The one thing Bobby enjoyed the most is spending time with his family.

In addition to his wife, Tiffany, Mr. Williams is survived by a son, Garrett Williams, a daughter, Brooke Powell, his mother, Patricia “Pat” Williams, a sister, Lisa Miller, a grandchild, Brynleigh Powell, an uncle Sonny Howell, aunts Sissy Gaskill, Robin Diaz, and Mickey Bentley, several cousins, nieces and nephews as well as a loving extended family. Mr. Williams is preceded in death by his father, Bobby Williams, Jr. and his aunt Barbara Baxley.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 11:00 AM until service time on Wednesday
