Robert Bob Pratt

Evans, GA-- Robert “ Bob” Pratt passed and went home to be with his
Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ on August 1, 2009. He was preceded in death by his parents, Gerald and Ethel Pratt.

The beloved husband of Angeline (Missy) Pratt, loving father of two sons, Christopher of Los Angeles and Brian of Boynton, Beach, FL, and adoring grandfather of Tesla Jade Pratt, daughter of Christopher and Peilin Pratt. He will be missed as we wait for our eternal homecoming.

He was a loving husband who enjoyed spending as much time as possible with his wife, Missy. Family and friends remembered his fun loving nature, his ability to make others laugh and his joyful helping of family, friends and clients more than he helped himself.

Bob graduated from Bucknell University, Lewisburg,PA. with a degree in Physics and began developing his entrepreneurial spirit “out in space” as an engineer on the Apollo Space Program. He then developed three different businesses over his lifetime: Manufacturing of foam products for health care; Small Business Technology Solutions and Consulting Services and a coffee distribution service in the CSRA. It was a coffee and beverage distributor in Augusta that friends and clients came to know Bob as “The Coffee Guy” brightening their days with smiles, laughter and fresh coffee and iced tea products.

Bob was an active member of the BNI morning business networking group and the Columbia County and Richmond County Chambers of Commerce and was selected as the Columbia County Chamber of Commerce Ambassador of the Year for 2006. He was an avid small business supporter and enjoyed helping small business owners. He served the Lord in all he did.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, August 6, 2009 at 10:00 a.m. in the Belair Rd. Chapel of Platt’s Funeral Home with Reverend Wayne Bruner officiating.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home Wednesday evening from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m.
