Ralph Shady Smith

Martinez – Mr. Ralph Shady Smith, 73, beloved husband of Glenda Kent Smith, entered into rest on Tuesday, May 28, 2013 at his residence.

Funeral services will be held at 10:00AM on Friday, May 31, 2013 at Platt’s Belair Road Chapel with Bishop Ryan Robinson officiating. Burial will follow at 2:00PM at Gibson Branch Cemetery in Edge Hill, Georgia.

In addition to his wife, Glenda, he is survived by his sons, Karey Smith and wife, Cindy, and Kevin Lee Smith, a brother, Ronnie Smith, his granddaughter, Marie Parker, and husband, Jay, and two great grandchildren, Maddie and Katie. He was preceded in death by his son, Dwayne Smith, his daughter, Karen Smith and his brother, William Smith.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Thursday evening, May 30, 2013 from 5:00 until 7:00 PM.
