Paula Jean Higdon Gregory

Paula Jean Higdon Gregory, 63, wife of Wilson S. Gregory, Jr., entered into rest on Wednesday, October 16, 2019 at University Hospital in Augusta, GA.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday, October 19, 2019 at the Most Holy Trinity Catholic Church with Rev. Mariusz Fuks officiating. Interment to follow at West View Cemetery.

Mrs. Gregory was born January 23, 1956 in Augusta, GA. She was a life long resident of Jackson, SC and an active member of the Most Holy Trinity Catholic Church in Augusta, GA. Mrs. Gregory was a retired certified nursing assistant, a medical unit clerk, phlebotomist, and completed her Associates Degree in criminal justice.

In addition to her husband, Mrs. Gregory is survived by her daughter, Kristi Higdon Benson (Joe) of Hopkins, SC; step-son, Christopher Gregory (Mary) of Silver Springs, MD; brother, James M. “Mike” Higdon (Jody) of North Augusta; sister, Melodi Higdon Lloyd (Danny) of North Augusta; and a step-grandson, Joshua Gregory. She was preceded in death by her parents James Leo and Bobbie Jean Higdon.

Pallbearers will be Steven Higdon, Jeff Cook, Chris Miller, Roy Williams, David Timmerman, and John Hammett.
