Paul Stewart

Evans, GA – Paul Stewart, 92, husband of the late Lois Stewart, entered into rest on Sunday, February 28, 2016.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM on Wednesday, March 2, 2016 at Platt’s Funeral Home Belair Rd. Chapel with Pastor Larry Harmon and Rev. Andy Collins officiating. Burial will follow at West View Cemetery.

Mr. Stewart was a Pipefitter and was a member of Local 150 for over 50 years. He was an outdoorsman who enjoyed hunting and fishing.

Survivors include three sons; Larry Stewart (Peggy) of Appling, GA, Stoney Stewart (Brenda) of Barnwell, SC, Rickey Stewart (Susan) of Evans, GA, one brother; Forrest Stewart (Lillian) of Grovetown, GA, seven grandchildren, nine great grandchildren, and one great great grandson.

Pallbearers will be Larry Stewart, Stoney Stewart, Rickey Stewart, Wayne Stewart, Larry Stewart, Jr., and Allen Stewart. Honorary pallbearers will be members of Local 150.

The family will receive friends on Tuesday, March 1, 2016 from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM at the funeral home.
