Augusta, GA - Patrick Scott “Packy” Lamb, 51, of Augusta, GA entered into rest on Friday, June 15, 2018 at Piedmont Hospital in Atlanta, GA after fighting a courageous battle.

Patrick was born January 15, 1967 and was a lifelong resident of Augusta, GA. He attended Evans High School and was self-employed. Patrick was an avid fisherman and hunter and loved Nascar racing, the Georgia Bulldogs and spending time with his fur baby Lucie Lou Lamb.

Patrick leaves behind his wife and soul mate Teresa Charney Lamb, his step-daughter Jordan Alexis Charney, his mother, Ella Harry Arnold, Lincolnton, GA; his father Dennis C. Lamb and step-mother Sandra Lamb, Greenville, SC; sister Shannon Lamb Burton and brother-in-law Stuart Burton, Evans, GA; and many aunts, uncles, cousins, family, and friends.

Patrick is preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Zeb Marion Harry and Margaret Scott Harry Orr (Stephen J. Orr) , of Salisbury, NC; his paternal grandparents, Julian King Lamb, Sr. and Margery Clarke Lamb of Salisbury, NC and half-brother Justin Barrett Lamb of Greenville, SC.

Patrick’s family wishes to express their deep and abiding gratitude to his many compassionate caregivers especially the doctors, nurses and staff at Piedmont Hospital in Atlanta, Ga.

The family will receive friends Tuesday, June 19, 2018 from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM at Platt’s Funeral Home, 337 N. Belair Road, Evans, GA. A memorial celebration will be held on Wednesday, June 20, 2018 at 6:00 PM in the chapel at Platt’s Funeral Home.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the Patrick Lamb Transplant Fund, Wells Fargo c/o Shannon Burton, 601 Millstone Dr. Evans, Ga. 30809 or the charity of your choice.
