Orval A. Rasmussen

Lincolnton – Mr. Orval A. Rasmussen, 89, beloved husband of the late Judy Rasmussen, entered into rest on Friday morning, October 3, 2014 at University Hospital.

Graveside services will be held at 2:00 PM on Monday, October 6, 2014 at Westover Memorial Park with the Rev. Dave Dillard officiating.

Mr. Rasmussen, a 22 year veteran of the United States Army, is survived by his step son, Gary Posey (Jackie), his grandchildren, Tony Posey (Brenda) and Julia Posey, and his great grandchildren, Mia Murray and JoJo Posey.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Monday, October 6, 2014 from 12:30 until 1:30.
