Neville Cumming Riley, 94, entered into rest on, Wednesday, March 21, 2018 in Walterboro, SC.
A private burial will be held at a later date.
Mrs. Riley was born in Augusta, GA on September 11, 1923 to the late Joseph Bryan Cumming and Virginia Burum Cumming. She attended Tubman School for Girls, St. Mary’s School in Raleigh, NC, and Agnes Scott College. She was a long-time member of the Church of the Good Shepherd. Mrs. Riley was a talented and accomplished dancer performing in Chicago, IL in the roadshow of Oklahoma, and also in New York City in the musical “Call Me Mister”. She also entertained the troops in musicals at Camp Gordon, GA during the Korean War. Mrs. Riley was a part owner of a ballet school in Augusta for several years with her late sister Nancy Cumming Connolly.

Mrs. Riley is survived by her children, Janet Riley Barrow (Charlie), and Neville Riley Hudson; her grandchildren, Carolyn Virginia Couch (Greg), Virginia Barrow Hills (Adam), Charles Ellis Waring Barrow (Katherine), and Thomas Bryan Barrow (Betsy); five great-grandchildren; her brother, Joseph Bryan Cumming, Jr.; and her brother-in-law, David Hugh Connolly. She was preceded in death by her sister, Nancy Cumming Connolly.
