Nellie Pearl Roberson

Evans – Ms. Nellie Pearl Roberson, 62, entered into rest on Thursday, December 8, 2011 at University Hospital.

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, December 13, 2011 at 2:00 at Broadway Baptist Church with the Rev. William Bussey officiating. Burial will follow at Bellevue Memorial Gardens.

Ms. Roberson, a native of Lincolnton, was a member of Morningstar Baptist Church. She had retired from University Hospital after 40 years of service.

She is survived by her daughter, Teresa Bussey of Evans, her sons, Tim Bussey and wife, Tara of Greenville, and Dwayne Bussey and wife, Tashinko of Lawrenceville, two brothers, Johnny Bussey and wife, Juliet and Willie James Bussey and wife Helen, both of Augusta, and two sisters, Beulah Wright of Augusta and Rosa Bussey of Atlanta. She is also survived by a brother in law, Robert Blount of Augusta, sisters in law, Margie Bussey of Appling and Etheleen Bussey of Charlotte, as well as a host of grandchildren, two great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers will be her nephews.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Monday evening, December 12, 2011 from 6:00 until 8:00 pm.
