Michael W. Goldman

Evans, GA – Mr. Michael W. Goldman, 59, husband of 22 years to Mrs. Adriene Goldman, entered into rest on May 22, 2012 at University Hospital.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, May 25, 2012 at Warren Baptist Church at 3:00 PM with Dr. David McKinley officiating. Burial will follow in Westover Memorial Park.

A native of Augusta, Mr. Goldman was a graduate of Richmond Academy, and was a graduate of University of South Carolina in 1975. He married his wife in October of 1989. Mr. Goldman was owner of Goldstar Builders and he was also a partner of Fairway Investment Company. He was a member of West Lake Country Club and a member of Warren Baptist Church. He was a devoted husband, father, and son. Michael enjoyed playing golf, and watching his son play baseball.

The family would like to thank Dr. Stephen Michael Shlaer, MD and the staff at the Medical Oncology Associates.

Additional survivors include his mother, Corean Plunkett Goldman of Augusta, one son Colin Michael Goldman of Evans; one brother David R. Goldman (Cathy) of Augusta; father-in-law, John R. Thomas (Cleada) of Aiken, SC; mother-in-law, Jeanne McGhee of Grovetown, GA; a uncle, Olin Plunkett (Catherine); two nieces and one nephew.

He is preceded in death by his father, the late Rudolph W. Goldman, a uncle the late Albert Feaster, and aunt the late Mary Feaster.

Pallbearers will be Dr. Norris O’Dell, David McArthur, Bob Collez, Fred Brindisi, Mark Plunkett, and Ray Feaster.

The family will receive friends on Thursday, May 24, 2012 at Platt’s Belair Road from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM.
