Melissa Ann Rogers

Evans, GA – Melissa Ann Rogers, 33, loving daughter of Bill and Malinda Rogers, passed away suddenly and unexpectedly in her sleep on Tuesday, September 10, 2013. She is now in the Lord’s hands.

Melissa leaves behind her adorable, 4 month old twins, Asher and Ava, whom she loved so dearly, her brother, Kenneth Rogers, and many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.

Melissa graduated from Westside High School and North Georgia College. She received her Master’s in Administration from Cambridge College. She was a teacher at Gracewood and Southside Elementary Schools. Melissa enjoyed her job and loved her students. She loved life, always had a smile, and was a ray of sunshine to all who knew and loved her. Truly, Melissa shall be missed. Thank you all for your outpouring of love and prayers.

A graveside service will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday, September 14, 2013 at Westover Memorial Park with Pastor Larry Harmon officiating.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM on Friday, September 13, 2013 at the funeral home.
