Augusta, GA – Mrs. Melba Reeves Price, 81, beloved wife of the late John C. “Jake” Price, entered into rest on Tuesday, April 03, 2012 at The Place at Martinez.

Graveside services will be held at 10:00 AM on Thursday, April 5, 2012 in Westover Memorial Park with Rev. George Jones officiating.

Mrs. Price will be remembered as a loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother.

Mrs. Price is survived by her sons, John C. Price, Jr. (Patricia) of Evans, and Larry Price (Kathy) of Martinez; her grandchildren, Angela Price of Evans, Cullen Price of Evans, Sarah Batioja (Bo) of Wilmington, NC, Beth Heath (Chris) of North Augusta, and Larry Price, Jr. (Kristen) of Evans; her great-grandchildren, Jade and Alexandra Price of Evans, Savannah Price of Wilmington, NC, Lawson Price of Evans, and Karly and Caroline Heath of North Augusta; her niece, Melissa R. Coursey, and her nephew, Hal Reeves.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Wednesday evening, April 4, 2012 from 5:00 to 7:00 PM.
