Megan Marie Kelly Russell

Megan Marie Kelly Russell, 23, entered into rest on December 14, 2022.

A celebration of her life will be held at 3:00 PM on Friday, December 30, 2022 at Platt’s Crawford Avenue Chapel. The family will receive friends one hour prior to services at the funeral home.

Megan was born on December 19, 1998 in Augusta, GA where she spent all of her life. Megan was known as “Smiley” for her infectious smile and captivating personality. She never met a stranger. Megan was full of life and loved to make people laugh. If she knew you, she loved you with her whole heart. She always saw the good in people and wanted to lend a helping hand. Megan always stayed true to herself and never conformed to who society thought she should be. She had a deep love for animals and cherished her dog, Roxy. Over the years, Megan worked as a welder, plant manager, cook, and mechanic. She loved calling herself a “jack of all trades”. Megan was truly loved by all. She will be deeply missed by her loved ones.

Megan is survived by her sisters, Payton Russell, and Morgyn Recio (Tyler Sikes); her grandparents, Lonnie and Patricia Kelly and Raymond and Gloria Russell; her long-time girlfriend, Zoe Redlund; her father, Johnathan Russell and by her numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and extended family members. Megan was preceded in death by her mother, Sabrina Michelle Kelly.
