Margaret Munn

Augusta, GA – Mrs. Margaret McCall Munn, age 96, beloved wife of the late Shala Baxton Munn entered into rest on Thursday, December 10, 2009 at Brookdale Place of Augusta.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM on Monday, December 14, 2009 at The Hill Baptist Church with Dr. Rodger Murchison officiating. Interment to follow in Westover Memorial Park.

Mrs. Munn was a faithful member of The Hill Baptist Church for 63 years and a member of the Faith Bible Class. She worked in the Richmond County Tax Commissioner’s office for 20 years and also served as a Pink Lady at Trinity Hospital (formerly St. Joseph Hospital). Mrs. Munn was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and mother-in-law.

Mrs. Munn is survived by her son, Bill Munn and wife Anne of Clemson, SC; her daughter, Sandra Munn Broyles and husband Larry of Augusta; her sister, Ruth Plymon of Clinton, TN; her six grandchildren, Lora Broyles Bollinger and husband Don, John Edward Broyles, Sam Munn and wife Dina, Cullen Bull and husband Chris, Katie Chastain and husband Tim, and Nichole Munn; and her eleven great-grandchildren.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Sunday afternoon December 13, 2009 from 4:00 to 6:00 PM.
