Margaret Ann Dailey

Augusta, GA---Mrs. Margaret Ann Dailey, 81, entered into rest on Thursday, June 9, 2016 at Doctors Hospital of Augusta.
A memorial service will be held at 4:00 pm on Tuesday, June 14, 2016 at Trinity on the Hill United Methodist Church with Reverend Mike Cash officiating. Interment will be at a later date.
Mrs. Dailey was born January 9, 1935 in Des Moines, Iowa, to the late James and Coy Gardner Clarke. She attended Drake University. She married David C. Dailey in 1956, they were married for 45 years, Mr. Dailey having passed away in 2001. Mr. Dailey became a United Methodist Minister and preached for 26 years, before his death. Mrs. Dailey thoroughly enjoyed being a Minister’s wife. Before Reverend Dailey entered the ministry, he and Mrs. Dailey were members of the First United Methodist Church in Des Moines, Iowa, for many years. Ann was presently a member of Trinity on the Hill United Methodist Church in Augusta, Georgia and was a member of the Damren Sunday School Class. Mrs. Dailey was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother and will be greatly missed by her family and those who knew and loved her.
She is survived by her son, Steven C. Dailey of Groves, TX, daughter, Mary Ann Waller and husband Elliott of Augusta, GA, three grandchildren, Crystal Dailey, Emily Waller and Christopher Dailey and one great granddaughter, Brylee Crum.
The family will receive friends on Tuesday from 3:00 pm until the time of services at Trinity on the Hill United Methodist Church.
