Lucille Guy Walden

Augusta, GA---Mrs. Lucille Guy Walden, 80, entered into rest on Saturday, August 7, 2010 at her residence.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm, tomorrow Tuesday, August 10, 2010, in the Platt’s Crawford Avenue Chapel with Reverend Brian LaFavor officiating. Interment will follow at Bellevue Memorial Gardens, Grovetown, GA.
Mrs. Walden was born on August 7, 1930, in Gibson, GA. She was a longtime Augusta resident and was a member of Crawford Avenue Baptist Church.
Mrs. Walden was preceded in death by her husband, John Roy Walden, son, Aaron “Benny” Walden, parents, Ira C. Guy and Esther Swint Guy, brothers and sister in law, Hezekia “Hezzie” Guy and Annie Guy, George “Bud” Guy, Cullen Guy and John Guy, sisters and brothers in law, Louise Guy Poole and Ernest Poole, Virginia Guy Chalker and Bill Chalker and Jimmy Kelly.
Survivors include her daughter, Carolyn Walden Frazier (Larry) of Martinez, GA, son, James Troy Walden, (Juanita), of Augusta, GA, grandchildren, Erich L. Frazier (Tammy), Mark L. Frazier (Nikki), Marcia L. Jiminez (Bill), Derrick G. Walden (Lindsey), James T. Walden (Brittney) and Aaron G. Walden (Alecia) and seven great grandchildren, sisters, Iris Guy Kelly of Hephzibah, GA, Sally Guy Toalston (Charlie) of Cleburne, TX, Clara Guy Holinbaugh (Gary) of Joshua, TX, sisters in law, Ella May Guy of Augusta, GA, Gloria Guy of Wadley, GA and Leslie Guy of Martinez, GA.
The family will receive friends, this evening Monday, August 9, 2010, from 7:00 pm to 9:00 pm, at Platt’s Crawford Avenue.
Grandsons will serve as pallbearers.
