Louise Dobbs

North Augusta, SC – Mrs. Myrtle Louise Green Lott Dobbs, 89, entered into rest on Sunday, July 15, 2012 at NHC Healthcare of North Augusta.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM on Tuesday, July 17, 2012 at Platt’s Crawford Avenue Chapel with Pastor Terry Taylor officiating. Interment to follow in Westover Memorial Park.

Mrs. Dobbs was born at home in Graniteville, SC to the late John and Maude Green.

Mrs. Dobbs is survived by her daughters, Janice Lott Johnson (Edward), Vickie Lott Odenweller (Ricky), and Karen Louise Lott; her grandchildren, Laura Harris (Phillip), Shellie Fletcher (Chuck), Ashley Atkins (Ravenel), James Richard Odenweller (Kelly), Esther Deal (John), Timothy Hallford, and Jessica Hallford; and by her great-grandchildren, Zachary Harris, Stephanie Fletcher, Emily Fletcher, Juliana Fletcher, Kaitlyn Renew, Emily Atkins, Rhett Odenweller, Molly Odenweller, Conner Hallford, Riley Hallford, and Landon Hallford.

Mrs. Dobbs was preceded in death by her first husband, James Blanchard Lott, her second husband, Ofard Curtis Dobbs, Sr.; and by her granddaughter, Kara Elisabeth Hallford.

The family would like to thank Mrs. Dobbs’ loving caregivers, Lisa Benjamin, Ruby Hallford, Michelle Oglesby, and Gail Accerbi, and also her faithful friend and Sunday School Teacher, Jeanette Turner.

Pallbearers will be Timothy Hallford, James Richard Odenweller, Phillip Harris, Chuck Fletcher, Jerry Green, and Joe Taylor. Honorary pallbearers will be Zachary Harris, Don Rhinehart, Richard Odenweller, and Edward Johnson.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home Tuesday morning from 10:00 AM until service time.
