Lois R. Mrs. Robinson

Martinez – Mrs. Lois R. Robinson, 88, entered into rest on Sunday, December 16, 2012. She was the wife of the late Henry “Bud” Robinson, with whom she shared 62 years.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, December 19, 2012 at 3:00 PM at Platt’s Belair Road Chapel with Dr. Marty Baker officiating. Burial will follow at Bellevue Memorial Gardens.

Mrs. Robinson was born was in Lincoln County, GA., and resided most of her life in Martinez. She was a homemaker and an ordained minister, whose passion was spending time with her family, playing the piano, crocheting, and serving the Lord. Lois was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. She will be greatly missed. She was preceded in death by her son, Henry “Buddy” Robinson.

She is survived by one daughter, June R. Pritchett and two sons, Don Robinson and Randy (Carlette) Robinson, all of Evans, GA; a sister, Onelia R. Poss of Martinez, her brother, James “MudCat” Roberson of McCormick, S.C, and a daughter in law, Linda Robinson; she is also survived by 11 grandchildren, 18 great grandchildren and two great great grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be her grandsons.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Tuesday evening, December 18, 2012 from 6:00 until 8:00 PM.
