Lois Faye Baker

Augusta, GA – Lois Faye Baker, beloved wife of Odell R. Baker, entered into rest on Monday, June 15, 2009. The Bakers would have celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary in July.

Graveside services will be held at 1:00 PM today, June 16, 2009 at Westview Cemetery with Dr. Michael Davenport officiating.

Mrs. Baker was a native of Augusta, GA and has resided in North Augusta, SC for the past 35 years. She was a former secretary for A.A. Friedman Co. and secretary for Urban Renewal at the Richmond County Municipal Building.

Family members include her brothers, Bobby Sims (Sharon) of North Augusta, SC, and Johnny Sims of Augusta; her nephew, Lawrence Odell Brooks of Wilmington, NC; her nieces, Beverly Simpson of Beech Island, SC, and Vickie Kaney and Pamela Warnock both of North Augusta; along with several other nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.
