Harlem, GA – Mr. Lloyd L. Jackson, 86, entered into rest on Tuesday, January 11, 2011 at his residence.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM on Friday, January 14, 2011 at Platt’s Crawford Avenue Chapel with Dr. Michael Davenport officiating. Interment with military honors to follow at Westview Cemetery.

Mr. Jackson served his country proudly for three years in the United States Army Air Corps. Following his service, he went on to work for the United States Postal Service until his retirement at the age of 55. Mr. Jackson will be remembered him as a loving father, grandfather, and great-grandfather.

Mr. Jackson is survived by his four daughters, Jan Pollock (John) of Harlem, GA, Janie Cone (Charles) of Appling, GA, Diane Jackson of Grovetown, GA, and Jill Cone (Coney) of Lincolnton, GA; his thirteen grandchildren; and his fifteen great-grandchildren.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Thursday, January 13, 2011 from 6:00 to 8:00 PM.
