Linda Gail Goree

Augusta, GA – Ms. Linda Gail Goree, 59, entered into rest on Monday, June 27, 2016 at Augusta University Medical Center.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday evening, July 1, 2016 from 5:00 to 8:00 PM.

Linda Goree was a fan of many things, but the number one thing was family. She was a very loving mother, grandmother, and the eldest sibling. She was a very caring person who loved life. There were many things she loved to do but family and friends were the most important things in her life. She lived a full life but it was taken suddenly and with almost no warning. She still believed that GOD had a plan for her and she fought the good fight. We all love her just as much as she loved all of us and she will be missed. We love you mom, grandma, big sis, aunt, sister-in-law, and friend.

Linda is survived by her son, Thomas Roberts (Charity); her siblings, Terry Goree (Pamela), Helen Gibson (Frankie), Leona Goree, Mary Ann Goree, Billy Joe Goree, Rickey Goree, Kenneth Ray Goree, and John Worley; and by her grandchildren, Thomas Roberts, Jr., Haley Roberts, Ellen Roberts, and Chelsea Roberts.

In accordance with Linda’s wishes the family has set up a GoFundMe page in her name for family and friends to make memorial donations in her honor.
