Larry Wayne Norred, Sr.

Mr. Larry Wayne Norred, Sr., beloved husband of Diane Norred, entered into rest on Wednesday, December 14, 2016 at University Hospital.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM on Saturday, December 17, 2016 at Platt's Belair Road Chapel with the Rev. Forrest Page officiating. Burial will follow at Bellevue Memorial Gardens.

Mr. Norred retired as a Sgt. Major form the United States Army after over 20 years of service. He then went on to work at the Battle Lab at Fort Gordon for many years. He will be remembered as a caring and loving husband, father and grandfather, and a loyal friend.

In addition to his wife, Diane, he is survived by his children; Larry Wayne Norred, Jr., Sammy Love (Jan), Jay Love (Natalie), Lynne Shiver (Billy) and Dawn Love, his grandchildren; Payton, Maddie, Emma, Brandon, Haley, Ashley, Tiffanie, Nicholas, Ryan, McKenzie, Amberly and Jason, as well as four great grandchildren. He is also survived by his sister; Marjorie Sutherland (Homer), a sister in law; Tula Norred.
