Katherine Mcgahee Sweat

Evans,Ga.- Mrs. Katherine M. Sweat , 87, beloved wife of the late Mr. Jerome L. Sweat, entered into rest on Thursday, October 1, 2009 at Doctors Hospital.
Funeral services will be held at 12:00 noon on Saturday, October 3, 2009 in Platt’s Belair Rd. Chapel with Reverend Dave Dillard officiating. Interment will follow in Bellevue Memorial Gardens.
Survivors include a son, Jerome L. Sweat Jr. and wife, Kay of Enterprise, AL, a daughter, Judy Robertson and husband, George of Belvedere, SC. ; four grandchildren and seven great- grandchildren.
A native of Ailey, GA. Mrs. Sweat was Retired Sales Consultant with J.B. White’s. She was a member of Warren Baptist Church, where she attended the Dorcas Sunday School Class. Mrs. Sweat was also a member of the Red Hat Society and the Ringaling’s at Washington Commons.

Honorary pallbearers will be the Dorcas Sunday School Class of Warren Baptist Church, and are asked to assemble at the funeral home by 11:30 AM.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday, October 2, 2009 from 6:00 PM until 8:00PM.
