Johnnie Harry Jones

Mr. Johnnie Harry Jones, 89 years old from Metter, GA entered into rest on Sunday, June 17, 2018, peacefully with his family by his side.

Johnnie was born on May 14, 1929. After his time served in the Army, he made Augusta his home. He was married to his loving wife, Mary, for 53 years. They both dedicated their lives to Jehovah as baptized witnesses. Johnnie was a master paint and body man. People often bragged on his work. He loved his ministry, boating, riding his motorcycle, fixing things, and playing the harmonica. Spending time with his family was so important. He was a family man.

Left to cherish his memories is his loving and devoted wife, Mary Anna Jones; one son, Thomas Jones; six daughters, Patricia Brillant (Mark), Angela Jones, Ceceila Clark, Teresa Martin (Ritchie), Lathelia Ledford, and Annesia Jones. He had six grandchildren; Kylee Jones, Christina Ledford, Caleb and Aaron Zimmerman, Joshua and Jessica Martin. He also had four great grandchildren, two sister-in-laws and several other loving family members.
Preceded in death by his mother, Isabella Jones, his dad, John Sid Jones and his brother, Bobby Lee Jones.

Memorial Services will be held at The Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses, 2460 Golden Camp Rd.,Augusta, GA 30906 on Saturday, June 23, 2018 at 2:00pm. In Lieu of Flowers, donations can be made to the above address.
