John Eaton George, Jr.

Evans, GA – John Eaton George, Jr., 66, entered into rest on Friday, August 30, 2013.

John was a graduate of Yale University where he earned a Master’s Degree in Music. For most of John’s career as a professional musician, he worked as the Director of Music at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church in Plano, TX and later St. Teresa of Avila Catholic Church in Grovetown, GA. He was instrumental in coordinating a trip for the Plano choir to sing for Pope John Paul, II in Italy. John loved traveling, sailing, and working in his garden.

Survivors include his sister, Shirley Dicce and husband Luke of Anderson, SC, one niece, Elizabeth Ford of Anderson, SC, two nephews, Max and Adam Dicce both of Anderson, SC, and longtime friend, Eugene Daigneault of Evans, GA.

In honor of John’s wishes, there will be no service held at this time.
