Joan Gail Mcclendon Luckey

Albany, GA---Mrs. Joan Gail McClendon Luckey, 64, of Albany, died Tuesday, April 19, 2011 at her home.

Graveside services will be held at 11:00 am on Saturday, April 23, 2011 at West View Cemetery with Chaplain Frankie May officiating.

The family will receive friends on Saturday, from 10:00 am until the time of service at Platt’s Crawford Avenue.

Mrs. Luckey was born in Augusta and had lived in Albany since 1961. She was a mother and homemaker.

She is survived by her husband: Gerald Luckey, Sr., Albany; a daughter: Deborah Luckey Hill and her husband William, Albany; a son: Gerald Luckey and his wife Jennifer, Albany; grandchildren: Matthew Hurst, Brittany Hurst, Nicholas Hurst, Michael Hill, Brinna Hill, Jordan Luckey, Jessica Luckey, Judah Luckey, Julie Luckey, Bobby Luckey, Genieve Luckey; her mother: Ruth McClendon, Albany; her aunt: Blanche Carpenter, Albany.
